Cook to make up the group, which formed in 2015. The band plays a little of everything, from folk, jazz and swing to funk and classic rock, Wolf said. The show starts around 6 p.m. at the brewery, 550 W. Railroad Ave.<\/p>\n<p>Wolf and Cook have recently started writing more original songs, so Friday\u2019s show will feature some of those, Wolf said. But it also will include plenty of music people will recognize, she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ll definitely pull out the Irish-Celtic tunes,\u201d Wolf said.<\/p>\n<p>Cook and Wolf tend to put their own spin on cover songs to make them more entertaining, Wolf said.<\/p>\n<p>The two met at a Fourth of July party a few years ago, Wolf said. One of her other bands was playing, and Cook was scheduled to perform a solo set afterward, she said. Even though they had never met or played together before, Cook invited her to play with him, and they connected, Wolf said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomeone told us we should start a duo, so we did,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Wolf Crossing has mainly played gigs around Durango since they started playing together, she said. They enjoy being able to branch out occasionally to other areas, she said.<\/p>\n<p>They have played at the Mancos Brewery once or twice before, Wolf said. Since the company is moving to a new building, it likely will be the final time they play at the current space, she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s always a fun time for us,\u201d Wolf said. \u201cIt\u2019s fun to play at a brewery.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Also on Friday, the Mancos VFW Post at 136 Grand Ave. is hosting a St. Patrick\u2019s Day corned beef and cabbage dinner from 5-7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 per plate for adults and $5 for kids 10 and under.
