They help locals pay for veterinary care and provide pet food when times are tough. They also facilitate pet adoptions and help lost pets find their way home.<\/p>\n<p>In the past year, For Pets\u2019 Sake has received more requests for assistance than ever before, according to the news release from Sally Jo Leitner, of For Pets\u2019 Sake.<\/p>\n<p>All contributions are tax-deductible, and operations are funded by membership dues, fundraising activities, donations and grants.
