The college also has campuses in Durango and Ca\u00f1on City. Erjavec is president of Pueblo Community College.<\/p>\n<p>The rumor picked up momentum during a Montezuma County Commission town hall meeting in Mancos on Monday. A commenter suggested the college was making plans to leave the Mancos campus.<\/p>\n<p>Erjavec said there is \u201cabsolutely no validity\u201d to that suggestion.<\/p>\n<p>She said that Pueblo Community College sometimes reallocates resources among the college campuses. , For example, not every class offered at other campuses may be available at the Mancos campus.<\/p>\n<p>Erjavec said she did not know how the rumor got started or where it came from.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no intention of closing that campus,\u201d she said. \u201cWe are committed to serving the students there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em class=\"mwc_shirttail\"><a href=\"mailto:jacobk@the-journal.com\">jacobk@the-journal.com<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Graduates prepare to walk out for the Southwest Colorado Community College graduation in 2011.Sam Green\/The Journal \u201cPueblo Community College is privileged to serve the students and the communities in Durango and Mancos, and we have no intention of leaving the area or closing a campus,\u201d Erjavec said in a phone interview.
