The state says it\u2019s working around-the-clock to fix the issues.<\/span><span class=\"credit\">Durango Herald file<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><p>A new system for processing food benefits, financial aid and medical assistance for Colorado residents will eventually provide faster and more reliable care, once the kinks are worked out, state officials say.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, it was reported that <a href=\"https:\/\/durangoherald.com\/articles\/293806-software-glitches-cause-heavy-backlog-for-food-medical-assistance\">glitches in new software rolled out by the state in August<\/a> were causing delays for some La Plata County residents who receive aid through the county\u2019s Department of Human Services.
