Also, a re-enactment of a pioneer cattlewoman will be presented this month.<\/p>\n<p><em class=\"mwc_body_bullet_rr\">On Oct. 4 at 6:30 p.m., local author C. Chuck Greaves will provide an introduction to his new book \u201cChurch of the Graveyard Saints.\u201d Meet the author and find out more about his books.<\/em><em class=\"mwc_body_bullet_rr\">Oct. 10 at 6:30 p.m. Local author Alan Mulak will discuss his book \u201cReboot,\u201d a story about Rob Santos, who thought he had it all until his life was upended with one phone call. Rather than give into despair, Santos started a new life in a town called Dolores.<\/em><em class=\"mwc_body_bullet_rr\">On Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m., a reenactment of the life of local pioneer cattlewoman Lizzy Knight.<\/em>Stories of the first female resident of Rico includes her immigration story, skills as a blacksmith and rancher.<\/p>\n<p>Marsha Bankston was a sixth-generation heir of the land where the Knight Homestead is located.
