{"id":64732,"date":"2019-10-10T11:45:39","date_gmt":"2019-10-10T17:45:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/southwest-colorado-gets-a-dusting-of-snow\/"},"modified":"2019-10-10T17:45:39","modified_gmt":"2019-10-10T17:45:39","slug":"southwest-colorado-gets-a-dusting-of-snow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/southwest-colorado-gets-a-dusting-of-snow\/","title":{"rendered":"Southwest Colorado gets a dusting of snow"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><!-- gallery:a7012051-9c5f-493b-936c-7ab9dd062dd1 --><\/p>\n<p>The Journal<\/p>\n<p>Snow fell Thursday in the San Juan Mountains of Southwest Colorado, giving an area south of Telluride its first dusting of snow this fall.<\/p>\n<p>A strong cold front dropped into Southwest Colorado from the north about midnight Wednesday and pushed temperatures to as low as 27 degrees Thursday in Telluride.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe cold\u2019s going to be the big story,\u201d Michael Charnick, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Grand Junction, told <em>The Durango Herald<\/em>.
