Once the restitution is paid, Graham will be eligible for early termination from probation, Carlson said.<\/p>\n<p>Graham pleaded guilty to <a href=\"https:\/\/durangoherald.com\/articles\/231664\">taking almost $140,000 from an elderly man<\/a> \u2013 E.D. Theriot, 92 \u2013 when she was his caregiver. A Bank of Colorado employee contacted the La Plata County Sheriff\u2019s Office after noticing unusual activity in Theriot\u2019s account. The bank employee noticed in November 2017 that Theriot had written $138,883 in checks to Graham, Graham\u2019s daughter and Graham\u2019s son-in-law.<\/p>\n<p>Graham told the Sheriff\u2019s Office that Theriot had agreed to give her the money, something he disputed.
