Adrian Driscoll with the Colorado State Patrol in Durango.<\/p>\n<p>The driver, Juan Perez of Miami, Florida, was heading west down the pass when he crashed.<\/p>\n<p>Perez was taken to Pagosa Springs Medical Center with serious injuries.
