This year, the parade kicks off at 1 p.m.<\/span><span class=\"credit\">The Journal file<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><p>Cortez will celebrate Veterans Day with two annual events on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The Montezuma County Veteran\u2019s Day Parade, sponsored by Ute Mountain American Legion Post 75, kicks off Monday at 1 p.m. on West Montezuma Avenue, from North Elm to North Harrison.<\/p>\n<p>The Veterans Day Luncheon will be at Cortez Elk\u2019s Lodge 1789, 2100 N. Dolores Road, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.. All active military and veterans and their spouses are invited for a free lunch.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday morning, Lighthouse Baptist Church, 11502 Colorado Highway 145, hosted a Veterans Sunday service for veterans and their families.
