{"id":61795,"date":"2018-10-10T21:22:59","date_gmt":"2018-10-11T03:22:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/mancos-restaurant-celebrates-dove-creek-artist\/"},"modified":"2018-10-11T03:22:59","modified_gmt":"2018-10-11T03:22:59","slug":"mancos-restaurant-celebrates-dove-creek-artist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/mancos-restaurant-celebrates-dove-creek-artist\/","title":{"rendered":"Mancos restaurant celebrates Dove Creek artist"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><!-- gallery:33aa5774-34e0-4c88-a23a-3fc390720a90 --><\/p>\n<p>Cody Lyon, an artist out of Dove Creek, will take  her artwork to Mancos on Saturday for a showing of her work.<\/p>\n<p>The show, titled \u201cThe Travelers,\u201d will be hosted at Olio Restaurant on West  Grand Avenue in Mancos.<\/p>\n<p>An artist\u2019s reception for Lyon will be held at the restaurant from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, and her work is scheduled to remain on display at the restaurant over the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The Olio Restaurant is owned and operated by Chef Jason Blankenship and his wife, Michelle Blankenship.<\/p>\n<p>Jason is the restaurant\u2019s sole chef, serving a high-end menu that changes weekly and features local ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>Rena Wilson, president of the Mancos Creative District, curates the art that is shown in the Olio.
