The entry fee is $20 and includes a cool commemorative T-shirt.<\/p>\n<p>Costumes for all are encouraged, Sally Jo Leitner said in a news release, and prizes will be awarded for categories including fastest people and pets, best and best-coordinated costumes, best pet trick and most unusual pet to cross the finish line.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCome on out to exercise and socialize before your big meal,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>All proceeds benefit the Humane Society and their work to assist the dogs and cats in Montezuma and Dolores counties.
