It is not every day that audiences are treated to an exciting plot line, great acting, a beautiful set and a great dinner.<\/p>\n

Held Friday, Oct. 25, and Saturday, Oct. 26, in Ron Wright Memorial Gym, \u201cClue\u2019s\u201d plot was fast-paced and exciting, featuring an array of characters from the classic board game.<\/p>\n

In what amounted to a single-act murder mystery involving multiple victims, countless weapons and classic rooms such as the library, kitchen and conservatory, it was ultimately revealed that no less than seven characters were guilty of murder.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy favorite part was when I was found as the murderer,\u201d said Kaylee Brinkerhoff (Miss Scarlett), of the complex plot. \u201cThat was a big thing for my character. I liked that the audience got to be involved with this play.\u201d<\/p>\n

What allowed the audience to be so involved was the set, which allowed actors to move among spectators who were seated at various tables within the set.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the things that I enjoyed is how we got to see the audience,\u201d said Kaleb Burris (Motorist). \u201cPersonally, I don\u2019t like being on stage and looking out into the blackness.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the production, audience members were able to enjoy a dinner of salad, lasagna and a variety of home-cooked dessert items.<\/p>\n

While audience members will always remember \u201cClue\u201d for its plot, acting, set and food, actors and actresses will remember lifelong bonds formed leading up to the play.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just love the people,\u201d said Elizabeth Wilson (Singing Telegram Girl). \u201cWe\u2019re a family. I think that\u2019s what makes our department so great.\u201d<\/p>\n

Next up for the M-CHS theatre program will be a production of \u201cPeter Pan\u201d The production will take place Nov. 8 (7 p.m.), Nov. 9 (2 p.m. and 7 p.m.), Nov. 15 (7 p.m.) and Nov. 16 (2 p.m. and 7 p.m.)<\/p>\n
