The highway was closed shortly after.<\/p>\n<p>An initial report says a car hit a female pedestrian, who died as a result of her injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Cutler did not have more information about the crash or the identities of those involved.<\/p>\n<p>As of 9 p.m., there was no estimated time for reopening Highway 550.
