{"id":49944,"date":"2020-12-11T02:01:32","date_gmt":"2020-12-11T09:01:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/crashes-slick-road-conditions-close-road-g-temporarily\/"},"modified":"2026-03-31T03:49:22","modified_gmt":"2026-03-31T09:49:22","slug":"crashes-slick-road-conditions-close-road-g-temporarily","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/crashes-slick-road-conditions-close-road-g-temporarily\/","title":{"rendered":"Crashes, slick road conditions close Road G temporarily"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><!-- gallery:6727f5bf-9774-4561-a60a-031a94e60fdd --><\/p>\n<p>Two vehicles crashed, and another slid off County Road G Thursday evening in snowy conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The crashes and slick conditions caused Road G west of Road 21 to be closed about 5:30 p.m. until a sander truck could arrive and the wrecks were cleared, said Colorado State Trooper Tonja Cowan.<\/p>\n<p>The two vehicle crash occurred in the 19000 block, and a one vehicle slide off was in the 16000 block, Cowan said.<\/p>\n<p>The crashes are under investigation. Injuries have not yet been reported.<\/p>\n<p>Other vehicles on Road G were \u201cspinning out\u201d on fresh snow as law enforcement and rescue vehicles arrived, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>About 6 p.m., two sanding trucks arrived to improve road conditions.
