Three staff members tested positive.<\/span><span class=\"credit\">Anthony Nicotera\/The Journal<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><p>Montezuma County has 18 active COVID-19 outbreaks, with 63 total positive cases, in data released Wednesday by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.<\/p>\n<p>The latest case reported was at Cork \u2019N\u2019 Bottle, with three staff members reported testing COVID-19 positive. The date the outbreak was reported was Jan. 17.<\/p>\n<p>CDPHE defines an \u201coutbreak\u201d of COVID-19 as two or more people who contract the virus in a single location within 14 days.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to Jan. 17, the latest active outbreaks reported in Montezuma County were:<\/p>\n<p><em class=\"mwc_body_bullet\">City Market, with two positive cases, reported Jan. 4.<\/em><em class=\"mwc_body_bullet\">Hampton Inn Mesa Verde, with two positive cases, reported Jan. 4.<\/em><em class=\"mwc_body_bullet\">Madison House assisted living facility, with four positive cases, three staff members and 1 resident, reported Jan. 6.<\/em><em class=\"mwc_body_bullet\">The Valley Inn assisted living facility, with seven positive cases, four staff members and three residents, reported Jan. 7.<\/em>CDPHE is reporting seven outbreaks in the county have been resolved.<\/p>\n<p><em class=\"mwc_body_bullet\">As of Wednesday, Jan. 27, the Montezuma County Public Health Department is reporting 1,590 confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in the county.
