Last year, <a href=\"https:\/\/the-journal.com\/articles\/177965\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">10 students were awarded<\/a> $1,000 each to further their post-secondary education.<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship fund is supported by the Dean Hanson Memorial Golf Tournament, co-chaired by Carol Click and Marti Spitzer of RE\/MAX Mesa Verde Realty.<\/p>\n<p>The 2021 Dean Hanson Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Sept. 11 at the Conquistador Golf Course.<\/p>\n<p>Dean Hanson was a Realtor and involved community leader. He coached Little League and was instrumental in getting the Elks club built.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline to apply is May 1.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are available at the counselor\u2019s offices for Montezuma and Dolores high schools. They are also available at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fourcornersboardofrealtors.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fourcornersboardofrealtors.net<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Applications can be mailed or turned in to the Four Corners Board of Realtors office, 350 W.
