It reopened late last summer but shut down again after a few weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Allen Theatres has reopened a location in Durango and Farmington.<\/p>\n<p>Colorado <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-journal.com\/articles\/coloradans-will-be-allowed-to-go-mask-free-in-almost-all-settings-governor-says\/\" id=\"link-ed70d1ea5a916f8629d9e2d1f4f6ab5d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gov. Jared Polis<\/a> on Friday followed guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/vaccines\/fully-vaccinated-guidance.html\" id=\"link-3ac18f594d10a4f29c055dc9fa5abab3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">loosened indoor mask-wearing recommendations<\/a> for those who have been fully vaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>Polis added that businesses may require patrons to wear masks or provide proof of full vaccination.<\/p>\n<p>Allen intends to follow the rules of local jurisdictions when it comes to reopening the theaters and having \u201ccommonsense\u201d protocols such as sneeze guards and thorough cleaning routines.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy the end of June it looks like there probably won\u2019t be anything happening more with this COVID thing,\u201d Allen said. \u201cI\u2019m very happy to see that coming to an end, and maybe we can get back to our lives again after this close to 18-month period of madness.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hiring a new manager remains the theater\u2019s biggest hurdle.
