Join Phil Pohl, San Juan College School of Energy and the San Juan Soil & Water Conservation District for a hybrid lecture entitled \u201cWater is the New Gold: What is it Worth to You?\u201d from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 21, at Henderson Fine Arts Center 9000 Rooms or via Zoom.<\/p>\n

Pohl will discuss the basics of water, the energy-water nexus, water regulation and local water issues.<\/p>\n

Pohl was born and raised in Albuquerque and has degrees in chemical engineering. He worked at Sandia and Pacific Northwest National Laboratories for 28 years in software development.<\/p>\n

Pohl is on the Engineering Advisory Board at Navajo Technical University and is a middle school math\/science teacher at Holy Child Catholic School in Tijeras, where he lives with his wife, Brenda. They have four four children and three grandchildren.<\/p>\n
