Teachers are supported with professional development, one-on-one coaching and resources for an additional five years.<\/p>\n<p>Graduates of the PEBC Teacher Residency program are retained in the teaching profession at an average rate of 86% percent after five years. This compares to an average national retention rate of 55% for teachers in their first five years of their career<\/p>\n<p>Because the school year is underway, interested candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
