Farmington artist Rosemary Meza-DesPlas was awarded a $9,100 516 ARTS\u2019 Fulcrum Fund grant for her upcoming performance artwork titled \u201cMiss Nalgas USA 2022.\u201d<\/p>\n

The funded performance artwork examines the mainstream commodification of the Latina versus the authenticity of the Latina in contemporary mass media. The performance will be presented in Farmington.<\/p>\n
