It will be held at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, on Oct. 8 and will be called the British Grand Prix.<\/p>\n<p>The World Supercross Championship will host four wildcard riders in each round.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m pumped to be heading to Cardiff to compete in the FIM World Supercross British Grand Prix,\u201d Tomac said in a news release. \u201cIt\u2019s a huge opportunity for fans in the UK to witness world championship supercross for the first time, and I\u2019m excited to be part of such a historical moment for the sport.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile I\u2019m definitely looking forward to going head to head with Ken, I also know there\u2019s going to be a bunch of fast, talented riders from around the world all lining up for their shot at a world championship. It\u2019s going to be an epic battle for certain,\u201d Tomac stated.<\/p>\n<p>Tomac on Saturday swept the two motos Saturday at Redbud National raceway in Buchanan, Michigan. Sexton, the runner-up in both motos was second overall.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur mission for the World Supercross Championship is to elevate supercross to a truly global audience and give international fans the opportunity to experience this incredible sport at a world championship level, firsthand,\u201d said Adam Bailey of SX Global.<\/p>\n<div class=\"naviga-scoreboard\">\n<p>2022 AMA Motocross standings1.
