Ben Steger of the Colorado State Patrol.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan-Martinez was taken to Mercy Hospital with critical injuries, according to the State Patrol. A hospital spokeswoman did not return a phone call this week seeking an update on Jordan-Martinez\u2019s condition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt this point, we are still awaiting an update to figure out if they\u2019re still life-threatening (injuries) or if they\u2019ve improved or what the situation is,\u201d Steger said.<\/p>\n<p>After she was thrown from the vehicle, the Jeep rolled across a driveway and came to rest facing north.<\/p>\n<p>Steger said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
