Farmington\u2019s National Night Out, Tuesday at Berg Park, plans a full slate activities, including hayrides, photo booths, a pumpkin patch and an obstacle course, capped by a bike giveaway.<\/p>\n

It all happens Tuesday, Oct. 4 from 4-7 p.m. along the Animas River in Berg Park. it is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n

The city holds its National Night Out the first Tuesday in October instead of the first Tuesday in August, as done commonly across the U.S.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve been doing it every year since 2015,\u201d said Farmington Public Affairs Administrator Georgette Allen. \u201cIt\u2019s a community policing partnership to bring communities together \u2013 get to know your neighbor, neighborhood camaraderie type thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two bicycles, including bike accessories, will be donated by Walmart, courtesy of Bisti Bikes and Barefoot Bikes. Helmets from Target will be part of the package for the lucky winners.<\/p>\n

Music will be provided by Greg Brown with GB Entertainment<\/a> DJ services.<\/p>\n
