There were no reported injuries to driver and passenger, and no reported injuries to the horses.<\/p>\n<p>Information was not available on the cause of the crash. The vehicle had to be towed, according to Trooper John Trentini.<\/p>\n<p>The highway had been closed at mile marker 43 in both directions, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/local.nixle.com\/montezuma-county-emergency-alert-system\/\" id=\"link-235d82a996bd4344f8231d93b99a2756\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Montezuma County Sheriff Emergency Alert System. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>The crash took place in the 23000 block near the intersection of County Road Z.
