Over 100 dogs were photographed during the call.<\/p>\n<p>Twelve were chosen by a group of 12 judges to be the featured dog for each month. The chosen 12 were then professionally photographed by Wild Blue Bug Photography at a location in Montezuma County.<\/p>\n<p>Leading up to the \u201crelease party,\u201d $5 from every calendar benefited local nonprofit, For Pets\u2019 Sake Humane Society, which yielded $390. Mr. November \u2013 Wrangler, an Australian shepherd, owned by Cadette Denbo is the 2023 Montezuma Mutts Cover Dog.<\/p>\n<p>Calendars are available for purchase online or in-store . Each page features a local dog, along with smaller squares of their doggy friends.
