The film was rereleased on March 20, 2015, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the historic march.<\/p>\n<p>The film was nominated for Best Picture and won Best Original Song at the 87th Academy Awards. It also received four Golden Globe Award nominations, including Best Motion Picture for a Drama, Best Director and Best Actor, and it won for Best Original Song, as noted in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Selma_(film)\" id=\"link-3efdbc489b0440aa7e8d8d3476574d92\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wikipedia<\/a>. The series features documentaries and independent films that may not have been released on a national level.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are $5, and are available at the San Juan College Box Office.
