Lindbergh Alonzo also was charged with tampering with evidence.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Deputy District Attorney Dustin O\u2019Brien stated that four children, ages 16, 12, 5 and 3, were removed from the home.<\/p>\n<p>The Flora Vista couple\u2019s arrest in October came nearly a month after the children were removed from the home, the San Juan County Sheriff\u2019s Office said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>At Monday\u2019s hearing, Alexis Alonzo\u2019s attorney, Lisa Torraco from Albuquerque, caused a delay in court proceedings while juggling various video court appearances. Judge Daylene Marsh moved on to the Lindbergh Alonzo case.<\/p>\n<p>Heather LeBlanc, Lindbergh Alonzo\u2019s attorney from Albuquerque, joined the proceeding via video conference from her vehicle, using audio only, and stated that she was on her way to pick up a sick child.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe do not practice law from a vehicle during video court proceedings,\u201d Marsh said.
