Farmington police officers are questioning a 17-year-old male, a 17-year-old female and an 18-year-old male in connection with the broken windows.<\/span><span class=\"credit\">Jerry McBride\/Durango Herald file<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><p>The two men found dead at Highway 64 Auto Salvage in Farmington were shot in the back sometime between 4 and 8:59 p.m. April 5, according to public documents.<\/p>\n<p>The double homicide was still under investigation Monday, said San Juan County Sheriff Shane Ferrari.<\/p>\n<p>Anthony McCants, 26, and Candrick Begay, 31, were assigned to be in the salvage yard pulling parts. It was there that co-workers found their bodies and reported the discovery of their bodies to the San Juan County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA worker at Highway 64 Auto Salvage called his boss and stated he found bodies of workers who went missing earlier in the day,\u201d according to incident reports. The bodies were found between rows of vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy T. Abernathy was the first on scene, according to reports. Abernathy found a \u201cbullet casing located in the area of the two bodies.\u201d The deputy described that area as being \u201ctowards the south of the salvage yard.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Abernathy was joined by Deputy May and Corporal Burke, as they searched the yard.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt the third car in, we found there was a male laying there, laying over a wheel and tire of the ground there was blood on his left shoulder of his back,\u201d Abernathy\u2019s report stated. \u201cI then walked a little further east and found a male lying on the ground. I saw he had blood on his back and was not breathing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It was determined in the report that both males had gunshot wounds and were dead.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation continued throughout the night and into the morning of April 6. At that time, investigators attempted to collect shoe imprints.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe ground was hard-packed and was difficult to locate any shoe impressions,\u201d according to a report written by Michael Carey.
