All rentals benefit 4-H.<\/p>\n<p>Tiernay Wilson, Montezuma 4-H\u2019s new youth development extension agent, said she had a 4-H club leader whose husband works at Target Rentals. After a few conversations with the club leader and Target Rental\u2019s human resources, the partnership began.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re super-thankful for Target Rental being willing to reach out to us and make this sponsorship happen,\u201d Wilson said. \u201cWe\u2019re going to try and work to do other sponsorships too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><figure class=\"wp-block-image naviga-inline-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/imengine.public.prod.dur.navigacloud.com\/?uuid=252b9669-2d02-5db7-ac01-0e59e556a20e&amp;function=cover&amp;type=preview&amp;source=false&amp;width=2000\" alt=\"A portion of the money used to rent the excavator will benefit Montezuma County\u2019s 4-H for the next three years.\" class=\"naviga-image\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption><span class=\"caption\">A portion of the money used to rent the excavator will benefit Montezuma County\u2019s 4-H for the next three years.<\/span><span class=\"credit\">Joe Nelson<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><p>In Montezuma County, 177 youths actively participate in the 4-H program. Students are divided into six 4-H clubs. The official 4-H year begins in October, and registration typically opens in October and closes around December.<\/p>\n<p>During summer, 4-H members can showcase their work at the Montezuma County Fair, showing animals and livestock along with photography, woodworking and more.<\/p>\n<p>Other Target Rentals in the Four Corners region have chosen to benefit various organizations as well.
