(Jerry McBride\/Durango herald)<\/span><span class=\"credit\">du1-i-syn<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p>SANTA FE \u2013 Hutton Broadcasting announced Tuesday the purchase of nine radio stations in Farmington, Durango and Cortez from American General Media. The stations will join Hutton\u2019s flagship stations in Santa Fe, which were purchased in 2007, Hutton said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>The Four Corners stations are:<\/p>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-x-im-unordered-list\">Farmington: KISZ KISS Country; KENN News Talk; KRWN Rock; KPRT Pirate Radio.Durango: KKDG Contemporary Hit Radio; KDGO Durango News\/Talk; KPTE The Point.Cortez: KRTZ Adult Contemporary; KVFC News and Talk<\/div>\n<p>Hutton said in the news release that \u201cthe teams staffing the three locations\u201d will join staffs that are \u201cskilled at developing hyperlocal marketing packages.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Both American General Media and Hutton Broadcasting are family-owned companies.<\/p>\n<p><figure class=\"wp-block-image naviga-inline-image naviga-align-left alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/imengine.public.prod.dur.navigacloud.com\/?uuid=ae0d14c3-1b29-50c5-8bb2-6963d2d467d3&amp;function=cover&amp;type=preview&amp;source=false&amp;width=2000\" width=\"276\" height=\"404\" alt=\"Scott Hutton\" class=\"naviga-image\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption><span class=\"caption\">Scott Hutton<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><p>\u201cThis is an exciting day for us,\u201d said Scott Hutton, owner and CEO of Hutton Broadcasting. \u201cWe continue to grow our footprint in New Mexico and now are dipping our toes into Colorado.
