There was no action necessary at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Montezuma County Sheriff Steve Nowlin told <em id=\"emphasis-bd73dee2f2260471fcd8bf3b82e2f858\">The Journal<\/em> that there was a \u201ccinnamon-colored\u201d bear spotted in the area last night. He estimated the bear to be about 2 years old.<\/p>\n<p>He said that there was \u201cno danger to anybody\u201d and that the Sheriff\u2019s Office just wanted people to know.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just hope that they secure their trash down there,\u201d Nowlin said.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday afternoon, another sighting was called in to dispatch in the area of South Madison and Seventh streets.
