The Cortez Rendezvous Balloon Rally will take over the skies this weekend with early morning launches Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and a balloon glow on Friday night.<\/p>\n

Crews meet at Parque de Vida around 6:30 a.m. to prepare for 7 a.m. launches, weather permitting, according to the event\u2019s Facebook page. The morning launches are scheduled to last until 11:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

The rally also has a balloon glow scheduled for Friday evening, starting at 6:30 p.m., weather permitting. The event is expected to last until 9 p.m. A Facebook announcement also states that other activities will be happening at the park during this event.<\/p>\n

Balloons float southwest, eventually landing south of Cortez. Friday morning, balloons landed at the Cortez Municipal Airport and in the area of County Road G and Road 24.3.<\/p>\n
