On Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m., Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser will host a statewide conversation via Zoom centered on fighting vaping in Colorado schools and in local communities.<\/p>\n

According to a news release, Weiser will hold the session to provide information to students, school staff, parents, guardians and the general community about grants and partnership efforts the state is taking part in to help combat youth vaping in the state.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Department of Law wants to hear from participants about what is working best and what requires additional action to address vaping in your community,\u201d the news release said.<\/p>\n

They are also seeking individuals, whether students, parents or other professionals, who would discuss their experiences with vape in their school or community, as well as addressing some of the biggest challenges to fighting this issue, current strategies that are working (or not working) and what would be the most helpful for combating vaping in their community.<\/p>\n

People who are willing to share their story and insights can let organizers know they are willing to speak when registering for the event.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis request is totally optional, and we hope you join either way if you\u2019re interested,\u201d the news release said. \u201cThe goal of the visit is to host an open and informed conversation with stakeholders across the state, to share and build on best practices and discuss the areas of greatest need.\u201d<\/p>\n

The event requires registration, and interested participants can register through the Zoom registration form<\/a> provided by the Colorado Department of Law: https:\/\/us02web.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_sHBQzDEHT5CV5rtyXihMNA#\/registration.<\/p>\n
