(Unsplash)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p>Fozzie\u2019s Farm will host a Sowing and S\u2019mores event for Spanish-speaking families and individuals Nov. 17 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 19760 Road W in Lewis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSow a tree, walk on the farm and enjoy a meal by the fire: a free Spanish event for the whole family!\u201d the translated version of the poster says.<\/p>\n<p>Fozzie\u2019s Farm, which is owned by the Montezuma Land Conservancy, is an 83-acre working farm and education center, said Fozzie\u2019s Farm\u2019s Aidan Gauthran.<\/p>\n<p><figure class=\"wp-block-image naviga-inline-image naviga-align-left alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/imengine.public.prod.dur.navigacloud.com\/?uuid=8b133f59-1f29-5e88-b587-ba5f75b2bdbd&amp;function=cover&amp;type=preview&amp;source=false&amp;width=2000\" width=\"1545\" height=\"2000\" alt=\"The Sowing and S\u2019mores event is Nov. 17 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.\" class=\"naviga-image\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption><span class=\"caption\">The Sowing and S\u2019mores event is Nov. 17 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><p>The event will start with a time of planting trees as a group before a bonfire and s\u2019mores. According to Gauthran, the point of the event is to give Spanish-speaking families and individuals time together outdoors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s providing an opportunity for Spanish-speaking families to get connected to the land and landscape around them,\u201d Gauthran said. \u201cIt\u2019s a way to get folks outside to enjoy the fresh air and enjoy the beautiful landscape that we have here in the Four Corners while doing something that is productive and hands-on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gauthran also said visitors may talk with members of the Montezuma Land Conservancy, and share how it can help address their needs.<\/p>\n<p>People may register for free transportation at <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/464X9e5\" id=\"link-d12a8ec860461b2f0de580491c2972de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/bit.ly\/464X9e5<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Fozzie\u2019s Farm is a donated and conserved property that is overseen by the Colorado West Land Trust.<\/p>\n<p>Funding efforts and grants helped build a classroom to support the farm\u2019s educational program.
