(The Powerhouse website)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p>The Powerhouse in Durango will host an informational Zoom meeting about Destination Imagination, a STEAM program open to students in Southwest Colorado, on Nov. 13 at 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>In the Destination Imagination program, students of similar age are grouped in teams of two to seven, and they develop solutions to project-based challenges involving science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. They compete in tournaments with their chosen challenges at the end of the program.<\/p>\n<p>The challenges utilize creative processes, have open-ended solutions and express creativity, according to the Destination Imagination <a href=\"https:\/\/www.destinationimagination.org\/\" id=\"link-5b7410f6b245583eeb7223dd17657c07\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a>.
