The Montezuma-Cortez RE-1 School District announced Wednesday that it is looking for people to rent out rooms for incoming teachers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have reliable, responsible teachers moving to the area from other locations in Colorado, out of state and international,\u201d the district said.<\/p>\n

If members of the community have the space in their home to rent a room to a teachers the district has provided a survey form to fill out to state availability and willingness to host a teacher.<\/p>\n

The survey can be completed online<\/a> at https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/r\/Z6JQ5JX. Interested individuals can also reach out to the district\u2019s Human Resources team by calling (970) 565-7282 (extension 1106).<\/p>\n

The survey asks basic questions to learn if the offered room is furnished, if pets are welcome, if smoking is permitted and more to learn the homeowner\u2019s preference.<\/p>\n
