(Curtis Ray Benally\/Special to the Tri-City Record)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The 35th annual Totah Festival and Indian Market brought hundreds of people to downtown Farmington from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 for a Labor Day weekend of art, music, culture and dancing at the Farmington Civic Center.<\/p>\n<p>Totah Festival Gourd Dance Powwow kicked off Saturday morning with a performance by Joe Tohonnie Jr. and the White Mountain Apache Crown Dancers, and were followed with more than 20 dance categories ranging from Junior Girls to Golden Age Men.<\/p>\n<p>Other highlights including the Navajo Rug Auction, market and Run the River 5K run at Berg Park.<\/p>\n<p>The official poster was submitted by Lawrence Charley Jr. of Crownpoint and was titled \u201cHopi Eagle Sculpture.\u201d \u200b Previous posters are sold at the Farmington Museum, 3041. E.
