The League of Women Voters of Colorado<\/a> is hosting a virtual candidate forum<\/a> for Colorado\u2019s Third Congressional District later in September.<\/p>\n

The online forum, which is scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 18, will feature U.S. House of Representatives candidates running for the CD3 seat in the November general election. The race includes Democrat Adam Frisch and Republican Jeff Hurd.<\/p>\n

Other lesser known candidates include Libertarian James Wiley, Unity Party candidates Gary Swing and Adam Withrow, and Independent candidate Frank Hernandez, according to Ballotpedia.<\/p>\n

The forum is an opportunity for people to learn more about candidates\u2019 stances on issues affecting CD3 residents, according to a news release from LWVLPC.<\/p>\n

The League of Women Voters of La Plata County<\/a> is inviting residents to submit questions before the candidate forum via email at lwvlaplata@gmail.com<\/a>, the release says.<\/p>\n

Preregistration is not required, although people looking to preregister can do so on the LWVLPC\u2019s website through its events calendar.<\/p>\n

Ballots will be mailed to registered voters the week of Oct. 11, according to LWVLPC. They are due at the La Plata County Clerk and Recorders Office by 7 p.m. on Nov. 5.<\/p>\n
