Aztec Police were called to the scene and found \u201ca vehicle that collided headfirst into a mobile home,\u201d according to the statement of probable cause.<\/p>\n<p>Police located Anaya at the home, and once he was cleared by medics, he was questioned by law enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>Anaya reportedly told the officer that he was \u201cin an argument with his girlfriend,\u201d just before he \u201clost control of the vehicle, ran over a ditch and crashed into the mobile home,\u201d according to the statement of probable cause.<\/p>\n<p><figure class=\"wp-block-image naviga-inline-image naviga-align-left alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/imengine.public.prod.dur.navigacloud.com\/?uuid=05138183-1660-5fcf-897d-dbcbc1c74d23&amp;function=cover&amp;type=preview&amp;source=false&amp;width=2000\" width=\"1512\" height=\"1530\" alt=\"The mobile home on County Road 3050 prior to being struck by a car on Sept. 30.\" class=\"naviga-image\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption><span class=\"caption\">The mobile home on County Road 3050 prior to being struck by a car on Sept. 30.<\/span><span class=\"credit\">cca<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><p>He allegedly told police he was traveling at 60 mph in a 30 mph zone that included sharp curves in the roadway. He also stated that \u201che lost consciousness before striking the mobile home,\u201d according to the probable cause statement.<\/p>\n<p>The home was occupied by a family, and the vehicle reportedly struck an area where a child had been sleeping. The interior damage was limited to \u201cpictures, mirrors and (miscellaneous) paintings\u201d falling off the walls, court records state.<\/p>\n<p>However, law enforcement wrote in the probable cause statement that glass shattered in the bedroom, making it \u201cextremely dangerous for all occupants that were inside the bedroom.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Anaya was arrested and booked into the San Juan County Detention Center. He was released on his own recognizance the next day.
