A Bloomfield woman is searching for her 16-year-old daughter, who has been missing since Nov. 24 from the family home.<\/p>\n

Christa Malouff was in Durango the afternoon of Dec. 5 putting up posters throughout the town asking for assistance in locating her daughter, Kyana Perez, who walked out of the family home at 8 p.m. Nov. 24 and has not been seen or heard from since.<\/p>\n

Malouff said that nothing happened prior to Perez leaving the house.<\/p>\n

\u201cNothing happened, just a teenager,\u201d she said, adding that she notified the San Juan County Sheriff\u2019s Office within five minutes of the teenage girl being gone.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey knew about it when she walked out the door,\u201d Malouff said.<\/p>\n

Perez left behind her phone, coat and glasses.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is blind as a bat,\u201d Malouff said, adding that Perez also suffers from low blood sugar and has an auditory processing disorder.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s already been too long,\u201d Malouff said. \u201cIt\u2019s too long. This is not her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Perez has left the home before. \u201cShe did do it back in July once, and was back in less than 10 hours though,\u201d Malouff said.<\/p>\n

The family does not know if Perez is in danger, Malouff said, adding \u201cwe\u2019re just needing information.\u201d<\/p>\n

Perez is a student at Piedra Vista High School in Farmington. \u201cI called them and asked them to keep an eye out at school,\u201d Malouff said, adding the family has checked with all of the girl\u2019s friends as well as the boyfriend.<\/p>\n

She is not with any of them, according to Malouff, who said she did receive a report that Perez may have been spotted in Durango.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are just everywhere, trying to figure out where she is at,\u201d Malouff said.<\/p>\n

Perez was last seen wearing a black shirt with \u201cPLAYBOY\u201d written on the sleeves and Lilo & Stitch sweatpants.<\/p>\n
