Chestnut St., on Thursday, April 17. Early access will be given to veterans and their spouses, starting at 9:30 a.m. All other job seekers can arrive at 10 a.m., and the event will run until 2 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The job fair is the result of the Cortez Workforce Center\u2019s partnership with Cortez Parks and Recreation, the Cortez Retail Enhancement Association and the Southwest Colorado Education Collaborative.<\/p>\n<p>The event was described as a way \u201cto open doors and spark new beginnings,\u201d whether seeking a job, looking for training opportunities or looking for resources in the community.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the opportunities available at the spring fair will include connecting with employers seeking to hire, learning more about local colleges and training programs, speaking with \u201cresource service providers\u201d who can \u201csupport your journey\u201d and more.<\/p>\n<p>The event will also offer a chance to win door prizes.<\/p>\n<p>Employers who wish to hire can register their booth for free, and registration will close on Monday, April 7.
