The city of Cortez is looking to hire.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhether you are a student seeking summer employment, an individual looking to gain experience in a recreational setting, or anyone with a passion for working with children, we welcome you to the Job Fair,\u201d according to a news release.<\/p>\n<p>The fair will be on Tuesday, March 18 in the Canyon Room at the Cortez Recreation Center, 425 Roger Smith Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The city is hiring a slew of positions, from lifeguards to camp counselors to cashiers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is an excellent opportunity for individuals of all backgrounds to join a dedicated team committed to providing a high-quality recreational experience,\u201d the news release said.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees will \u201cmeet with hiring managers, learn about job responsibilities, and participate in job skill demonstrations,\u201d the press release said.<\/p>\n<p>Come ready to fill out an application!
