(Journal file photo)<\/span><span class=\"credit\">du1-i-syn<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s mid-April, and that means Easter is here.<\/p>\n<p>In Montezuma County, there are many places to take children to meet the Easter bunny and hunt for eggs this weekend \u2013 remember to bring a basket for the eggs.<\/p>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\">Cortez<\/div>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\"><strong>Saturday, April 19<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>Parque de Vida\u2019s Egg Hunt, complete with prizes and music, will start at 10:30 a.m. at the corner of East Empire Street and North Mildred Road. Registration is at 10 a.m., and it\u2019s free to attend. It\u2019s sponsored by the First Baptist Church and Iglesia Apostolica, which will have an Easter Sunday service at 11 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>Off the Bench, 1 E. Main St., will host a free egg hunt in bounce houses. The hunt starts at 9:30 a.m., and kids will be split into groups based on their age. Zero to three years old are in one group, four to six years old are in another, and kids 7 to 10 make up the final group. There will be another egg hunt at 6 p.m. for kids aged 10 and older.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, April 20<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The First United Methodist Church at 515 N. Park St. is having an Easter Sunday Brunch &amp; Egg Hunt at 11:15 a.m. The hunt is free to attend, and starts after Sunday services. There will also be face painting.<\/p>\n<p>The Cortez Elks Lodge No. 1789 is having an Easter Brunch &amp; Egg Hunt at 12:30 p.m. It\u2019s free to attend. There will be a bounce house and photos with the Easter bunny.<\/p>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\">Mancos<\/div>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\"><strong>Friday, April 18<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>At the Valley Rehabilitation &amp; Healthcare Center, 211 Third Ave., there will be a \u201cEaster Egg-Stravaganza\u201d from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. It\u2019s free to attend. There will be an egg hunt as well as other activities, and photo ops with the Easter bunny.<\/p>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\"><strong>Saturday, April 19<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>At 10 a.m. in Boyle Park, there will be an egg hunt for kids sponsored by the Montezuma County VFW Auxiliary #5231. Kids will be split into groups based on age.<\/p>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\">Dolores<\/div>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\"><strong>Saturday, April 19<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>Joe Rowell Park\u2019s annual egg hunt starts at 10 a.m. sharp. The Easter Bunny will be there, too.<\/p>\n<p>Battle Rock\u2019s annual Easter egg hunt will be at 10 a.m. at the Four Seasons Greenhouse &amp; Nursery, 26650 Road P.
