President Donald Trump is currently trying to bend justice in favor of his friend Benjamin \u201cBibi\u201d Netanyahu in Israel. Netanyahu is on trial for a variety of crimes. Trump is implicitly threatening to stop military aid to Israel if they do not drop prosecution of Netanyahu. This is very much like his interference in the prosecution of New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who professed his loyalty to Trump as Netanyahu has done.<\/p>\n
Trump likely knows little about the facts of the bribery, fraud, and breach of trust crimes Netanyahu has been indicted for, even though he writes that the trial is \u201cover nothing.\u201d All he needs to know is that no fellow king can do any wrong.<\/p>\n
Israel\u2019s opposition leader Yair Lapid has said that Trump must not \u201cintervene in a legal process of an independent state.\u201d What Lapid apparently doesn\u2019t get is that the U.S. and Israel are no longer independent states. They are \u201cfiefs,\u201d or personal possessions of land belonging to the autocrats who rule those countries, just like medieval kings. That explains why Trump earlier notified the world that he intends to \u201cown\u201d Gaza after it is emptied out, so he can develop it into a Middle East Riviera.<\/p>\n
