(Courtesy photo)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p>Cortez Mayor Rachel Medina has been awarded the Achievement Award from the Colorado Municipal League\u2019s MUNIversity program, to recognize her attainment of the Graduate Level, the highest tier of the program, which requires 100 credits.<\/p>\n<p>The Colorado Municipal League, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization representing 271 cities and towns, provides resources and services to support municipal officials in effectively managing their governments. The CML MUNIversity program, established by the CML Executive Board, encourages elected officials to enhance their leadership skills and municipal governance knowledge through educational events.
