FARMINGTON \u2013 The 2025 Connie Mack World Series gets underway Friday with pool play Saturday across Farmington.<\/p>\n

Three of the four automatic qualifying teams for the CMWS were named to lead the three pool designations. Last year\u2019s Don Mattingly World Series champions Texas Twelve Red Sox lead Pool A, while Pool B is headed by the Midland Redskins. Pool C is topped by the D-Bat United Team.<\/p>\n

Each of the three pools contain four teams. Those teams will face off against each other in the first weekend of the tournament. Games during pool play will take place at Worley Field, the Farmington Sports Complex and Ricketts Park.<\/p>\n

The remaining teams in each pool will be announced Friday morning by the American Amateur Baseball Congress at a coaches meeting.<\/p>\n

A pair of Friday games will start at 3 p.m., the first at the Sports Complex where the Texas Twelve face off against an opponent to be determined. At Worley Field, the Midland Redskins will be in action against a team within their pool.<\/p>\n

Friday at Ricketts Park, the D-Bat United will be in action in their first pool play game. Each of the teams will play one game at each of the three ballparks.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of pool play weekend, the 12 teams will be seeded by the results of the pool play games. Sunday, bracket play begins with a pair of games starting at 5 p.m. at Ricketts Park.<\/p>\n
