(RaNai Toler\/Special to the Tri-City Record)<\/span><span class=\"credit\">cca<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><p>CORTEZ \u2013 Dillon Lawrence and Hunter Ferrell wrapped up closing weekend at Cortez Fairgrounds Speedway, recording sweeps in their respective divisions and picking up championship titles along the way.<\/p>\n<p>Lawrence, from Salt Lake City, won the featured event in the IMCA stock cars events on both Friday and Saturday night\u2019s programs. For the year, Lawrence has four wins and six top-five finishes in 10 starts this year in featured events.<\/p>\n<p>Ferrell, with 15 wins this season in 31 IMCA hobby stock events this year, capped off championship weekend sweeping both races on the final weekend of the 2025 season.<\/p>\n<p>Ferrell, from Bayfield, has won races this year at Cortez, as well as Aztec Speedway and tracks in Arizona and Utah.
