Reynolds)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p>Flutist Rochelle Mann will add something special to the annual Fort Lewis College Faculty Showcase on Sunday. Professor emerita and former chair of the music department, Mann carries with her the long and colorful musical history at the college.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to making a short presentation about Roshong Recital Hall and the musician for whom it is named, she will remind us of its dedication on Sept. 10, 1995. She replaces Hannah Duff, who left FLC at the end of last year to pursue her doctorate in Cincinnati.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, works range widely from a number of European composers, some of which may be new to music lovers, to new pieces. Reynolds)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><p>Pianist Holly Quist will perform a Chaconne by Sofia Gubaidulina and collaborate with violinist Richard Silvers in the dazzling and virtuosic \u201cDance of the Goblins,\u201d from Antonio Bazzini\u2019s \u201cScherzo Fantastique, Op. 25.\u201d Cellist Katherine Jetter will perform with Maynes on guitar for two movements from \u201cPot-pourri\u201d by Justus Johann Dodtzaur. Percussionist John O\u2019Neal will offer one of his favorite contemporary works, \u201cCam\u00e9l\u00e9on,\u201d by Eric Sammut.<\/p>\n<p><figure class=\"wp-block-image naviga-inline-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/imengine.public.prod.dur.navigacloud.com\/?uuid=66e9f31d-1e79-51be-aa6e-03197ac41574&amp;function=cover&amp;type=preview&amp;source=false&amp;width=2000\" width=\"1440\" height=\"1080\" alt=\"FLC Faculty members Holly Quist and Richard Silvers. Reynolds)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><p>Soprano Roh, the new faculty member for voice and choirs, will perform \u201cThe Doll Song,\u201d from Jacques Offenbach\u2019s \u201cThe Tales of Hoffmann\u201d with Quist on piano. Roh is a lyric coloratura with a Doctor of Musical Arts from Catholic University. Department Chair Justin Hubbard will perform on saxophone with Quist for \u201cTableaux de Provence,\u201d by Paule Maurice.
