(Jerry McBride\/Durango Herald file)<\/span><span class=\"credit\">cca<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><p>The Durango &amp; Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad will resume regular trips to Silverton on Saturday after above-average rainfall flooded the Animas River and damaged sections of track.<\/p>\n<p>For several days, the train ran only to Cascade Canyon as crews worked to repair the damaged sections of track.<\/p>\n<p>D&amp;SNG General Manager Jeff Johnson said even with the shortened trips, rider turnout remained steady.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll the customers have been pretty understanding,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, customers have been wondering when full service to Silverton would resume, Johnson said.
