The Four States Irrigation Council will hold its annual meeting Jan. 14-15 at the Delta Hotel in Northglenn.<\/p>\n

Representatives from ditch and irrigation companies, state and federal officials, farmers and others from Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska and Wyoming will attend to discuss \u201ctimely and critical water-infrastructure issues,\u201d according to a news release from the council. The event is open to the public.<\/p>\n

Presentations will cover regional water projects and irrigation challenges. Updates from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, the Family Farm Alliance, state water offices, university staff and regional experts are scheduled.<\/p>\n

Exhibitors will showcase innovations, new products and services. The Headgate awards will be presented to \u201cindividuals who have been active and supportive of irrigation and water resources development in the Four States region\u201d at the annual banquet.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1952, the Four States Irrigation Council serves as a forum for discussing water delivery, irrigation issues and solutions.<\/p>\n
